Agreement and store terms
By downloading, purchasing, or using a Nonagon app or service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Apps distributed by Apple are also licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with the terms of the store that distributed an app regarding your license or purchase, the applicable store terms control.
Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you. Our apps are intended for personal, noncommercial use unless we state otherwise.
What our apps provide
Nonagon makes focused software for cooking, attention, Screen Time, goals, and other everyday needs. Features differ by app and may include local data, optional Apple cloud storage, notifications, widgets, Apple Screen Time services, imports, exports, charts, reminders, and purchases.
Informational outputs
Estimates, projections, comparisons, imported information, reminders, and suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for general information and personal organization, not as medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking information before relying on it.
Purchases
An app may be free, offer a one-time unlock, sell consumable features or credit, or offer another purchase clearly described on its purchase screen. The applicable app store handles payment, refunds, and any subscription management. Deleting an app does not cancel an active subscription. Any non-cash app credit has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot be redeemed outside the app.
Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, goals, notes, photos, and other content you create or import. You are responsible for having the right to use that content. When you choose an app feature that transmits, syncs, exports, or shares content, you authorize the processing needed to complete that action. Our Privacy Policy explains where app data is stored and how limited analytics work.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service unlawfully or to harm, threaten, or exploit anyone.
- Attempt to bypass purchases, security, or access controls.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service.
- Use automated means to create abusive traffic or excessive costs.
- Use an app in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Third-party services
Some features depend on Apple, Google, websites you choose to import from, analytics providers, or other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Nonagon does not control their availability or decisions.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, and the apps may experience interruptions or processing delays. We do not promise that any app, sync, notification, widget, import, purchase, or third-party integration will always be available or error-free.
Termination
You may stop using an app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to a service when reasonably necessary to protect users, Nonagon, providers, or legal compliance, including for material violations of these terms. Store-managed purchases and subscriptions remain subject to the applicable store’s rules.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nonagon apps and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nonagon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on an app’s output. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your residence require otherwise.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to hello@getnonagon.com.
